HindsightNOW is the system behind UPwind: a way of putting twenty years of operating judgment to work at a scale and speed one person couldn't manage alone.

It's a team of AI agents, more than ten of them, built and run the way you'd run a team of sharp people. Most AI is built for writing code, where the job is to reach one confident answer quickly. Strategic work is the opposite. The contradictions are real, the obvious answer is often wrong, and the useful move is to surface what's missing rather than smooth it over.

So HindsightNOW is built for that discipline. It argues with itself. It keeps disagreements rather than resolving them too early, checks why something is the way it is before recommending a change, stays alert to base rates, and watches for what isn't in the evidence. It's meant to behave less like a tool and more like a sceptical, experienced operator.

It runs in production, on real engagements. The judgment and the reasoning patterns compound from one piece of work to the next; the client-specific detail does not travel between them.

I designed it, built it, and run it... and now it's teaching me what its actually capable of.
